Linux continúa creciendo, se acerca a windows

Según un informe hecho por la Fundación eclipse, por segundo año consecutivo GNU/Linux continúa levantando fuertemente su cuota de mercado en el ámbito de estaciones de trabajo, cayendo también así la cuota de Microsoft. Y dentro del mundo Linux, se posiciona con total claridad Ubuntu como la que más ha crecido. dijo:Eclipse is an open source community, whose projects are focused on building an open development platform comprised of extensible frameworks, tools and runtimes for building, deploying and managing software across the lifecycle. The Eclipse Foundation was created in January 2004 as an independent not-for-profit corporation to act as the steward of the Eclipse community. The independent not-for-profit corporation was created to allow a vendor neutral and open, transparent community to be established around Eclipse. Today, the Eclipse community consists of individuals and organizations from a cross section of the software industry. El estudio ha sido realizado por eclipse community e indica que Ubuntu ha crecido de un 14,4% del año pasado a un 18,3% este año, es decir, lo que corresponde a un 56,1% de la totalidad de los que usan Linux como plataforma de desarrollo.
