House moves to Asia, in a remote area of Vietnam, his motives aren't pure, he's not there to help the ill natives, but rather, find a cure for his pain through exotic species living in the jungle, but during his exploits tracking down the elusive cure for his pain, he begins to slowly learn of bizarre diseases and the need of a doctor in "The Jungle". House opens a jungle clinic to pass time whilst on his quest, both to pump the natives for information, and to keep himself busy with interesting cases.
POTW will feature ALL NEW diseases unfamiliar to most Western viewers! Think exciting and intriguing new diseases such as "tree man" (google that one too) and zombies (yes they are real in third world countries, sort off Google it, seriously).
Wilson reluctantly shows up when HOUSE learns of amazing new plants being used as herbal remedies through his contact with the local people, and Wilson believes he might actually be on to the cure for cancer through Botany. House, shows his more tender side by also looking for leaves and crushed up caterpillars that might cure Huntingtons disease before 13 succumbs to her disease.
In his off time, HOUSE battles to catch the ultimate MEKONG CATFISH while keeping one step ahead of the endangered species act with the help of Wilson, and riding his REPSOL sponsored TukTuk (google it) waay too fast.
Along the way he encounters a real jungle beauty who he suprisingly recognises! She happens to be an American ex pat, who had been stationed in the South Pole, but moved to the jungle to get away from her former cold climate. Suprise Suprise, the beauty turns out to be the lovely Princeton Plainsboro researcher "Cate Milton" he fell in love with while diagnosing her over the computer in the Episode "FROZEN". Chaos ensues.

Even though HOUSE has moved away, his proteges keep in touch because they cannot cure diseases without him.
Taub has two babies with two baby momma's and has to sell his porsche to pay child support, and soon finds himself doing back alley plastic surgery to keep his lifestyle. Foreman takes over the DDX team at PPH and spends 90% of his time on a satellite phone asking HOUSE for help. Jennifer Morrison is brought back to be the new Dean of Medicine, which get's Chases ire, and he becomes a thorn in her side. All the while, she still has to deal with HOUSE' and his wild ideas being played out by his old team back home in NJ, on this, the ALL NEW SEASON EIGHT of HOUSE!
